YOU DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THE FIRST TRY.

And now that the disclaimers are over, be it known to the whole multiply community that as of last Tuesday, August 7 2007, 4:05PM, I'm a proud owner of a Nikon D40, thanks to Ninong Dave's contagious passion and irresistible influence, and Ninang Sweets' overwhelming support to his little boi, este, husband. Hehe.

So yesterday, we went to the Lascano mansion to have our Bible Study. But as for me, I was hitting two birds with one stone (in short, WRONG MOTIVE!! haha). I laid my eyes on my first ever DSLR... and FELL IN LOVE. Waaah.

The one thing I realized I'll be missing, however, now that I have my very own DSLR, is BEING IN FRONT of the camera. I tried picture-ing myself the usual camwhore way -- you position the camera in front of you, you smile, you click to yourself -- but it was just.. hard. LOL. Oh well, I gota be sure I have photographer friends around all the time so that I get to pose for them. Haha.

Anyway, meet my CAMMIE (don't ask!), most popularly known as KONKS (whose name suddenly popped up Xai's mind, which she immediately scribbled on my paper while we were discussing about Acts during Bible Study haha) -- my Nikon D40 courtesy of my beloved Ninong/Cousin/Pastor, and that Henry guy who sells cameras in Quiapo, Google Adsense and Text Link Ads (don't ask), and a few months-worth of blogging and racketing. (Watch out for my blog entitled "The Nikon D40 that Blogging Bought" soon, soon!)

Now here are my first tries. (I tried, really!! Haha.) And I'm posting them up for the sake of documentation, and so that someday, when I'm all famous and in-demand already and running my own studio (hahaha riiiight), we can all look back and well, laugh. ;)
